Privacy Policy

No accounts, no tracking.

Cobble Gobble has no sign-up and no login. It contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software. It does not use advertising identifiers and does not ask to track you across other apps or websites.

Your location stays on your device.

The game uses your location only to notice which streets you have walked, entirely on your iPhone. Your location is never uploaded, never sent to me, and never shared. I could not see where you have walked even if I wanted to.

What's stored, and where.

Your progress, settings, and which cities you own are stored on your device. One single non-personal value — which city you picked as your free one — is mirrored to your own private iCloud (Apple's key-value storage) so your free city survives when you set up a new iPhone. That value contains no location and no personal information, and I have no access to it; it lives in your iCloud, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Network connections the app makes.

Cobble Gobble connects to the internet only to:

• download the city catalog and city map packs from my content server — anonymous requests that carry no account, no identifier, and no information about you;
• talk to the Apple App Store (via StoreKit) when you buy or restore a city;
• store the single free-city value in your Apple iCloud, as described above;
• display the map: like any app that shows a map, it uses Apple Maps, which loads map tiles for the area you are viewing. That connection is handled by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy.

A city you own plays fully offline.

Reporting a map problem.

If you choose to report a wrong street or map error, the app opens a pre-filled email in your own mail app. Nothing is sent unless you send it. That report describes a point on the map (a street's midpoint or a spot you tapped) — never your own location — plus the city and your note.

Purchases.

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. The app verifies them on your device using Apple's own StoreKit; there is no purchase-tracking server.

Children.

Cobble Gobble is rated 4+ and collects no data, so it is safe for all ages.

Changes.

If this policy changes, I will update this page and its date.

Cobble Gobble ist so gebaut, dass deine Daten dir gehören. Das Datenschutzlabel im App Store lautet Keine Daten erfasst, und diese Seite erklärt genau, was das bedeutet.

Kein Konto, kein Tracking.

Cobble Gobble hat keine Registrierung und keine Anmeldung. Es enthält keine Analyse-, Werbe- oder Tracking-Software von Dritten. Es verwendet keine Werbe-IDs und bittet nicht darum, dich über andere Apps oder Websites hinweg zu verfolgen.

Dein Standort bleibt auf deinem Gerät.

Das Spiel nutzt deinen Standort ausschließlich dafür, zu erkennen, welche Straßen du gegangen bist — komplett auf deinem iPhone. Dein Standort wird nie hochgeladen, nie an mich gesendet und nie geteilt. Ich könnte gar nicht sehen, wo du gegangen bist, selbst wenn ich es wollte.

Was gespeichert wird, und wo.

Dein Fortschritt, deine Einstellungen und deine gekauften Städte werden auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Ein einziger, nicht-personenbezogener Wert — welche Stadt du als deine kostenlose gewählt hast — wird in deine private iCloud (Apples Schlüssel-Wert-Speicher) gespiegelt, damit deine Gratis-Stadt beim Einrichten eines neuen iPhones erhalten bleibt. Dieser Wert enthält keinen Standort und keine persönlichen Daten, und ich habe keinen Zugriff darauf; er liegt in deiner iCloud und unterliegt Apples Datenschutzrichtlinie.

Netzwerkverbindungen der App.

Cobble Gobble verbindet sich nur ins Internet, um:

• den Städtekatalog und die Karten-Pakete von meinem Inhalte-Server zu laden — anonyme Anfragen ohne Konto, ohne Kennung, ohne Informationen über dich;
• mit dem Apple App Store (über StoreKit) zu sprechen, wenn du eine Stadt kaufst oder wiederherstellst;
• den einzelnen Gratis-Stadt-Wert in deiner Apple iCloud zu speichern, wie oben beschrieben;
• die Karte anzuzeigen: wie jede App, die eine Karte zeigt, nutzt sie Apple Karten, das Kartenkacheln für den angezeigten Bereich lädt. Diese Verbindung wird von Apple abgewickelt und unterliegt Apples Datenschutzrichtlinie.

Eine Stadt, die dir gehört, funktioniert vollständig offline.

Kartenfehler melden.

Wenn du einen Fehler in einer Straße oder Karte melden möchtest, öffnet die App eine vorausgefüllte E-Mail in deinem eigenen Mailprogramm. Es wird nichts gesendet, außer du sendest es. Diese Meldung beschreibt einen Punkt auf der Karte (die Mitte einer Straße oder eine Stelle, die du angetippt hast) — nie deinen eigenen Standort — plus die Stadt und deine Notiz.

Käufe.

Käufe werden vollständig von Apple abgewickelt. Die App prüft sie auf deinem Gerät mit Apples eigenem StoreKit; es gibt keinen Server, der Käufe verfolgt.

Kinder.

Cobble Gobble ist ab 4 Jahren freigegeben und erfasst keine Daten, ist also für alle Altersgruppen unbedenklich.

Änderungen.

Ändert sich diese Erklärung, aktualisiere ich diese Seite und ihr Datum.
